Get Spooked at the Anaheim Indoor Marketplace’s Annual Halloween Celebration

There are many reasons to love Halloween. Costumes, candy, and pumpkin carving are all big bonuses. However, one of the biggest bonuses is that there’s no gift-giving to worry about, which makes Halloween pure fun.Pumpkin 2

Anaheim, CA, hosts several free Halloween celebrations every year. But one of the best may just be the Anaheim Indoor Marketplace’s annual Halloween Spooktacular Celebration.

What is the Annual Spooktacular Halloween Celebration?

The Anaheim Indoor Marketplace has been a city staple for nearly thirty years now. So, naturally, its annual Spooktacular is a celebration of Halloween’s many great traditions. There’s face painting and jack o’lanterns, but also the costume contest.

This costume challenge serves as the pièce de résistance of the Spooktacular. The goal is to be as creative as possible. Competitors are split into appropriate age groups, and the participant with the most creative costume walks away with a fabulous prize.

Check Out the Anaheim Indoor Marketplace

When the Anaheim Indoor Marketplace opened its doors back in 1990, it housed just 20 vendors. However, its convenient location (just one mile from Disneyland) and excellent wares have allowed it to snowball into the largest indoor swap meet in Orange County.

These days, you’ll find 200 different specialty shops in the marketplace, ranging from electronics to jewelry and beyond. All wares are sold at huge discounts, so you’re sure to snag a great deal.

Just about every weekend, you’re bound to catch live entertainment at the marketplace, as well as some great food. However, their special events have garnered plenty of attention in the recent years—particularly the Spooktacular!

Have a Ghoulishly Good Time this Halloween!

If Christmas has the Grinch then Halloween has… Nosferatu’s grumpy cousin, No-show-ratu? Maybe?

You know what we mean. Just don’t be that person, this Halloween. Head down to the Anaheim Indoor Marketplace on October 29th to join in on the fun. You can RSVP on Facebook today to stay up to date with the celebration!
