Breakfast, brunch, and lunch are the three most important meals of the day for many in the Los Alamitos, CA, area. And with so many incredible local restaurants, finding a delicious spot to enjoy breakfast isn’t hard.
That being said, we’ve taken the time to do the field work and have come up with a short list of breakfast joints we simply couldn’t live without. If you see a member of our sales team out to breakfast this morning, be sure to say hello!
Café del Sol
One of our favorite restaurants in Los Alamitos, CA, Café del Sol, is a cute little spot that offers a warm and welcoming environment and their delicious versions of comfort food, so you know you’re going to have an excellent experience every time you stop in.
When you order from the breakfast menu at Café del Sol (they also offer lunch and dinner), you’ll get your entrée, your choice of hash browns, sliced tomatoes, Mexican-style rice and beans, cottage cheese or fruit, as well as your choice of a bread, including pancakes, English muffin, biscuit with gravy, or toast. That’s a whole lot of bang for your buck and a whole lot of ways for you to make breakfast your favorite meal of the day.
There are few places in the state of California where you can get delicious and authentic Southern comfort food. But at Country Café, you’re going to experience the South for what it’s best known for: food and hospitality. At this local establishment, you’ll enjoy a home-style breakfast with a whole lot of Southern flare.
Their breakfast menu offers a ton of tasty options for you to choose from, including their famous banana pancakes, super Southern menu options like the huevos rancheros, an extensive omelet menu with the Hobo Omelette (eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, and cheese), as well as low-carb options like the Egg White Scrambler. They even offer a lunch menu with a ton of sides for you to choose from in case you miss breakfast.
Gourmet Pie & Café
If you want to talk about a local establishment that serves incredible breakfast, you can’t forget about Gourmet Pie & Café. The restaurant has been serving delicious food in a family-friendly environment for around 30 years, and we can’t imagine Los Alamitos without it. They offer breakfast until 3 pm every day, so even if you’ve had a bit of a late night, you can still expect delicious hot food.
Their breakfast menu is extensive and has everything you could want—and probably a few things you didn’t even consider. They also offer several home-style (read: Southern) breakfast options like the country fried steak and eggs. You can even design your own breakfast with their famous blueberry pancakes.
